FICO CEO Provides Viewpoint on Vulcan CUP

"FICO has responsibly farmed along the Santa Cruz River in both Sahuarita and Green Valley since 1949. FICO initially grew cotton in the 1950s and then, with significant investment, transitioned to pecans in the 1960s. 

For over sixty years, we have been safely farming pecans."

Farmers Investment Company (FICO) to Town of Sahuarita - December 7, 2023  

"As you know, FICO believes that any decision to issue the Vulcan Materials CUP would be an abuse of discretion and contrary to law, because it would adversely affect the surrounding area and allow the illegal expansion of a non-conforming use.
